FunGamesCafe is hosting a Day to Play 10 am - 10 pm on April 20th featuring open gaming with games from our library, and an official Catan Tournament as a fundraiser for a local charity The Dam (www.thedam.org) starting at 4:30 pm. The top prize is a trip to GenCon with travel, hotel and 4 day badge covered as well as more prizes for the top 5 players. There will also be a raffle with great prizes, a Math Trade, amazing food will be available for purchase on site and we will bring some games from FunGamesCafe for sale. |

Every year Cat & Mouse Game Store holds a series of six Settlers of Catan tournaments, where novices and experts alike gather to trade and build over that famous field of hexes. This year, in addition to the friendly competition, each preliminary event will include snacks, drinks, and a variety of prizes. That's more FUN for everyone! This series is a Catan North American Championship qualifying event. The winner of each tournament will advance to the Cat & Mouse Catan Final in Spring 2013, and the winner of the final will go to the national competition at GenCon in August 2013. Alex Kevern, our champion from the 2011-12 season. We sent him to compete in the national championship at GenCon, and he won! |

Uncle's games will once again be hosting a CNAC pre-qualifier. The winners of our locations will go on to compete for the Washington Title and a trip to GenCon 2013 to compete for the CNAC title. This location will take the top contestant to compete for the Washington State title. Please see website for details or contact any store. CNAC events are open to United States citizens age 18 and older. |

South Blendon NCAC pre-qualifier - South Blendon Reformed Church, HudsonvilleSat, Mar 23, 2013 (12:00 AM - 12:00 AM)
When: March 23, 2013 at 10:00am Where: The tournament will be held in the Gym of South Blendon Reformed Church. (4817 Port Sheldon Rd, Hudsonville) Cost: Entry Fee of $20 (Includes hot dog Lunch) Each participant can expect to play 3 games during the opening round. After that the 16 top players will advance to a semi final, with the 4 winners moving on to the final! The winner of the tournament will get the first place prize as well as the opportunity to go to the regional final, in which the winner of this event and the winners of 3 others will play for a spot in the national competition in Indianapolis. Note that the person going to the national tournament is required to be 18; persons less than 18 can play and win prizes but will have to pass on the national tournament. Each player will be given a voucher for a free hot dog lunch; in addition to that we will be selling food and drinks throughout the event. Prizes: 1st Place: A large wooden Catan Board, custom made to beautifully hold all of the pieces to the game as well as provide a snug playing surface. The board expands to accommodate a 2-4 or 5-6 player game. 2nd Place: A wooden Catan Board, custom made to beautifully provide a snug playing surface. Mayfair Games, is proud to host a Qualifier for the Catan North American Championships (CNAC) 2013. Players will compete to win a trip to GenCon Indy 2013 to play for a seat in the CNAC. The trip to GenCon Indy will include double occupancy hotel, a four day badge to GenCon Indy, and $150 towards transportation cost. The tournament will run Friday March 22 from 1-7 p.m. and Saturday March 23 from 1-7 p.m.. Location TBA . Sign up will be at the show in the Table Top Tournament Area. Players must be 18 years or older. |

Join Mayfair at PAX East again this year. We will be demoing the latest Mayfair Games in our booth and holding a CNAC Qualifier tournament during the weekend. The Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East is is just one, in a series, of 3 PAX gaming festivals. PAX is a show that has been hailed as a celebration of gamer culture. Highlights include an opening keynote speech from an industry insider, game-culture inspired concerts, panels on game topics, exhibitor booths from independent and major game developers and publishers, a LAN party, tabletop game tournaments, and video game freeplay areas. |
