Settlers of America and Mayfair Giant Games: Two Great Things That Go Great Together

Mayfair’s Giant Games are just that- scaled-up versions of classic Mayfair titles that you can play at select events around the country. At the Origins Game Fair, Mayfair will offer 25 Giant Games events including: Ablaze™, Aeroplane™, Alchemist™, Atlantis™, Candamir™, Clash of Wills: Shiloh™, Elasund™, Empire Express™, Gangster™, Giza- The Great Pyramid™, Horus™, Lemming Mafia™, Lords of Vegas™, Patrician™, Pompeii™, Rocket Jockey™, Shear Panic™, Struggle for Rome™, Test of Fire™, Tigris and Euphrates™, Wacky Wacky West™, White Water™ and of course, The Settlers of Catan™ and Catan: Seafarers™.

Giant Settlers of America™ is our largest Giant Game yet, measuring a colossal 216 square feet!

Even more impressive are the game’s wood components. They weigh in at over 150 lbs!

Like chocolate and peanut butter, Mayfair realized that Settlers of America™ and Giant Games were two great things that would be even better together and decided that in honor of such a great game we should go all out and put the GIANT in giant games.

Players build settlements and cities in the West, then build train tracks to deliver their goods to cities owned by the other players. The first player to deliver all their goods tokens wins the game.

Settlers of America: Trails to Rails™ is Mayfair’s game of western expansion set in frontier America. The game combines the classic Catan mechanics of using random dice rolls to generate resources with a train game and features a map of the United States in Catan-style hexes.
