Nichelle Nichols coming to Mayfair Land at Gen Con 2012
Jul 11, 2012Mayfair Games is ecstatic to announce that Nichelle Nichols will be joining us Friday afternoon in Mayfair Land, #431 Gen Con this year! Nichelle Nichols is renowned around the world as Lt. Uhura in the groundbreaking sci-fi series Star Trek and the six feature films that followed.
Nichelle will be present in the Mayfair exhibit booth Friday, August 17th, where we will be previewing Mayfair’s brand new game, Star Trek: Catan™!
Star Trek: Catan™ is the latest addition to The Settlers of Catan™ family of games combining the classic gameplay of Catan with characters and textures from the classic Star Trek series.

About Nichelle Nichols
Star of stage and screen, Nichelle Nichols is best known for her portrayal of Lt. Uhura in the 1966 “Star Trek” television series. She was the first African-American actor to place her handprints in front of Hollywood’s Chinese theater and was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
