Origins Wrap-Up and Catan Championships Approaching!

Mayfair Games at Origins 2007

Mayfair just got back from Origins! We are proud to announce that this year's show went even better than last year's. We would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth this year. Mayfair would also like to say thanks for coming to all the new faces we saw at Origins this year. We love to see those who appreciate our favorite pastime grow in numbers every year.

Mayfair had a lot going on at Origins this year. Our booth was bustling with game demos lead by some very wonderful and helpful volunteers. The Mayfair Demo program at Origins this year showcased many exciting Mayfair titles such as: the new Amigo game Patrician, Before the Wind, Age of Discovery, Struggle for Rome by Klaus Teuber, Figaro, Anasazi, Pompeii, Justinian, Shear Panic, Hey! That's My Fish, and The Pillars of the Earth based on the novel by Ken Follett. The Mayfair Games Event Room was home to a wide and varied game play schedule, as well as some 1,345 gamers who participated in events.

Mayfair is also pleased to announce that we did not walk away from this year's Origins Awards empty handed. The Catan Event Cards won "Best Accessory for a Game" at this year's Origins Awards. This year was a blast for us!

Next year, we hope to see you at the Mayfair Booth and we hope you participate in the events at our event room.
