The results for the Catan food contest are in! Thanks again to everyone who participated this year, we had some fantastic submissions! And now the moment you have all been waiting for: the winner of The Second Annual Catan Food Contest is Azure Akamay of Anacortes, WA. Azure is the proud winner of the new 4th edition The Settlers of Catan, Catan Seafarers, and Catan Cities and Knights games! Azure made a stunning completely edible Catan base game cards and all. Taking a look at the picture to the right really says it all.

The second place winner is Cristian Cabrera of Cordoba, Argentina, who created a Catan board from cake, candy covered chocolate pieces, and other goodies. He wins a copy of the new 4th edition The Settlers of Catan. The third place winner is Melissa Whitfield, who re-created the 3rd edition Catan base game cover in the form of a gingerbread house. Melissa wins Elasund: The First City, from the Catan Adventures line of games!

We had a mouth watering time looking at the submissions this year. Thanks again to all of those who submitted such wonderful Catan food creations!
