Mayfair congratulates Joshua Slaubaugh, the 2008 Origins U.S. Catan World
Championship qualifier! He will be joining Todd Sweet, our Origins Catan
Masters Tournament winner, to represent the United States at The Settlers of
Catan World Championship! The World Championship will be held Aug. 16 and 17
as part of Gen Con Indy in Indianapolis Indiana. Patrick Chan, Jeremy Green
and Leah Warner rounded out our final table, and we congratulate them, and
everyone who participated in our largest-ever Origins Catan tournament!

There's one last chance to qualify for the Worlds! Mayfair is sponsoring an
At-Large space into the tournament with a second Masters Tournament at Gen
Con! This is a free event to those who have qualified for a semifinal
tournament at either Origins or Gen Con since 2005. If you qualify, send an
e-mail to gencon@mayfairgames.com with your name and qualifying tournament,
and be ready to play Thursday morning, Aug. 14 in the Mayfair Room at
Origins!
