GENCON Indy 2007 is happening late August!

Yep, we’re on our way to Indianapolis, IN for GENCON Indy 2007! This year GENCON Indy 2007will be occuring August 16-19. If you’re not aware, this is our second big convention that we attend each year, and we’ll be back with all your favorites from the first con, Origins:

• Mayfair Ribbon Program: play in events or get demos in our booth, earn ribbons, and get awards, coupons and more!
• Mayfair Event Room: where all of your favorite Mayfair games will be run, by our friendly and helpful staff! These will be for those folks who know how to play, and are looking for a challenge!
• The Settlers of Catan World Qualifier: find out who will be joining Mark Greenwald as our second U.S. representative at the Catan World Championship in Essen Germany! Qualifying rounds will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with the semi-finals for qualifying players on Sunday. All days start at 10 am; note that this time has been revised from earlier event schedules.

In fact, the only bad thing for our Chicago staff is that they will have to stick around an extra day to see their Bears exact revenge for last year’s Super Bowl against the Indianapolis Colts, as the pre-season game for the two of them is the day after the con ends (unlike 2 years ago, when it took less than 5 minutes for them to get out of their Mayfair staff shirts and into their Bears jerseys on the Saturday of the show). So, make sure to stop by, say hello, and play a few games with us (even if you do have a Peyton Manning jersey on…).
