We're really getting excited about Gen Con (well, we are between those moments when we're panicking about getting ready for Gen Con...). Here's a last-minute rundown of information you may want to know:

- Catan World Qualifier: These events (BGM01250 for Thursday, BGM01047 on
Friday, and BGM01128 on Saturday) start at 10 am each day, NOT 8 am as it
says online. Yes, we know that even OUR site currently says 8 am. It's 10 am
each day, believe us. Have breakfast, get some coffee, and we'll see you at
10 am.

- We'll be pushing the following games as part of our demomstrations in the
exhibit hall: Alchemist, Pompeii, Patrician, Leonardo daVinci, Figaro,
Struggle for Rome, Pillars of the Earth, Shear Panic, Elk Fest, Kragmortha,
Before the Wind, Justinian, Age of Discovery, and Hey! That's My Fish! Stop
by booth 1239, try and or all of these, and make sure you get your ribbons
as part of the Mayfair Ribbon Quest!

- The Mayfair Event Room is where those of you that know how to play our games and are looking for players should stop by. Most of our game line is represented in over 300 game events over the four days. Note that all of these events are marked "Some Experience Needed"; in general, we will be unable to teach these games as part of these events (so many players, so little time...)

- If you want to learn a Mayfair game after hours, or you're looking for a pickup game throughout the day, stop by our room. In particular, we'll have folks available to teach games in the Mayfair Event Room after 9 pm on Friday and Saturday night. Some of the games that we'll be spotlighting will include Ostia, Ostrakon, Intrigue, Go West!, Bison, Emira, Justinian, and Anasazi. Stop by, have your generic tickets ready to go, and we'll find a game that's just right for you!

- New games? Sure, we've got new games! Patrician is our latest co-production with Amigo, about tower-building in Italy. And, keep and eye out in the Puffing Billy area for our latest crayon rail game, China Rails! Add these to our recent releases (Age of Discovery, Before the Wind, Kragmortha and the Fishermen of Catan), and you'll definitely find something new to try!
