Origins 2009 Report!

We had a great time at Origins 2009!

The Mayfair booth was bustling with activity at this years Origins! The ribbon quest was a huge hit again this year and we knighted many people. Overall some 2,500 people came through and demoed games at our booth! Steam was a huge hit and we sold out of every copy we brought with us to the show. Among other new games that convention attendees enjoyed were: Pack & Stack™, Catan Geographies: Germany™, and the limited edition Martin Wallace's Totally Renamed Train Game™. away many prizes, games and a 3D limited edition Settlers as well, of course.

Congratulations to Charles Green, he took home the victory at the Origins 2009 NACC Qualifier Tournament. Mr. Green wins a seat in the GenCon Indy 09 NACC Tournament. He will be competing along with all the other qualifiers for a chance to win a trip to represent the U.S. at the Catan World Championship in Germany in 2010!

New releases at the show included: Eurorails® 4th Edition and the new Catan Card Game Expansion: Artisans & Barbarians™. Those who demoed enough to become Knights of Catan, or even Defenders also got to be the first to get their hands on the special Catan Board maps, Catan: Settlers of Hesse™ and Catan: North Rhine-Westphalia™.
