| Q: Are the prize stacks of the players supposed to be open and available for everyone to see? | |||
| A: Yes. | |||
| Q: The revolution example on the rulebook seems wrong. | |||
A: You are right! The following figure should be used as reference: ![]() Moreover, the statement reading: “two cards from the Samurai, one from the Akindo” should instead say: “two cards from the Akindo, one from the Samurai”. |

| Q: Treasure cards have a different back. What do I do when I have to draw a random treasure? | |||
| A: All cards are presented face down. The drawing player knows which card(s) are treasures. He decides whether to choose a sure but low income (from 2 to 4), or to go for broke and try to draw a higher value lord, or even a valuable Ninja! As a house rule, you may also shuffle and draw the cards under the table. |
|||
| Q: What happens to the lord cards of players that are overthrown in a revolution? | |||
| A: Nothing special! Players lose half their point cards (rounded down), but continue play with the same lords. As a house rule, you may also shuffle and draw the cards under the table. |
|||
| Q: If the Geisha card was drawn because a player lost his lord card, should he draw a substitute card to add to his prize stack? | |||
| A: No. The game ends immediately when the Geisha is drawn. Actually, the rules here are a bit imprecise. The statement: “As soon as the Geisha is turned face up, the game ends.” should instead say “As soon as the Geisha is drawn, the game ends.” As a house rule, you may also shuffle and draw the cards under the table. |
|||
| Q: If I have three Ninja in my point stack, do I win the game immediately? | |||
| A: No, check this winning condition only at the end of a season. |
|||
| Q: Can a player defeated in a fight that involved more than one Samurai choose his new lord card from all the cards that the Samurai revealed? | A: No, he may only choose from the cards revealed by the winning Samurai(s). |
